

Expeditions would like to welcome delegates of the 21st Annual Meeting of the Society for Conservation Biology.
Day 1:
Panorama Route Departure
We depart at 10:0
CDD 0 from the Inter-Continental Hotel at the Johannesburg International Airport(OR Tambo International). We travel across the Highveld towards the scenic Mpumalanga. Enjoy lunch at Pilgrim's Rest, an old mining village, visit god's Window with a spectacular view over the Lowveld, and the fascinating Bourke's Luck Potholes.
Overnight at a lodge overlooking the Graskop Falls (D).
Day 2:
Swadini
We visit a wildlife refuge where guests have the opportunity for close-up encounters with wildlife, and in the afternoon enjoy a sunset cruise on the spectacular Blyde Dam. the evening ends with a bush barbeque under the stars in a traditional boma.
Overnight in comfortable chalets on a resort at Swadini. (B,D)
Day 3:
Kruger National Park
Depart for Kruger National Park, entering through Orpen Gate. This is spectacular wilderness area and we enjoy game viewing en route to our camp. Besides the "Big Five" a host of other mammal and bird species make game viewing in the Kruger National Park an incredible experience. We head for a camp in the northern section and enjoy a night drive in the evening, with the opportunity to view predators and nocturnal animals.

Day 4:
Kruger National Park
Heading south we enjoy viewing the variety of wildlife en route to our next camp. Enjoy a lovely bush breakfast on the banks of the Letaba river, while watching animals coming to quench their thirst. The night is spent at a camp in the southern section of the Park.

Day 5:
DaGama Dam - Hazyview
Leaving the Kruger Park behind, we have a morning visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre where guests can interact with cheetah and other wild animals. We check in at our new destination and enjoy a sunset cruise on the awe inspiring DaGama Dam before dinner.

Day 6:
Loskopdam Nature Reserve
After early breakfast we leave for the Loskopdam Nature Reserve. We spend the day at leisure, enjoying the natural beauty of the Loskopdam area. An afternoon boat ride on the dam to view game before we sit down for dinner.

Day 7:
Departure
After breakfast we depart for Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo International) to arrive after 12:00. (B)
